I missed Eurovision -- I suppose that while it was happening I was travelling across Lake Michigan. I had an instant message while I was killing time at O'Hare from a friend saying it had been great. He wouldn't tell me who had won, though. (Maybe he'd forgotten -- he sounded like he'd had a good evening.) But he said that the UK did very badly. I like it when the UK does badly at Eurovision.
